As part of the Metsäliitto Group, Metsä Tissue promotes sustainable business through membership in the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
WBCSD is a global association of some 200 companies dealing exclusively with business and sustainable development. Metsäliitto Group actively participates in WBCSD’s Sustainable Forest Products Industry project. Membership in the organisation requires fulfilment of certain criteria on sustainable business practice.
