Our mission is to bring comfort for every day. The task of our product quality development is to enable us to fulfil the mission by ensuring that our products are competitive and safe in all end use applications.

There are no predefined and unambiguous criteria for tissue paper products to fulfil in various end use applications. There are, however, several different kinds of labels and certificates to ensure that the products are safe to use and environmentally friendly. Supply Team works to promote Metsä Tissue's capability to serve our customers operating throughout Europe. Centralization of purchasing, logistics, product development, mill development and IT systems development allows the mills to concentrate on achieving peak performance.

The use of tissue paper products in contact with food supplies sets high requirements for the chemicals and production processes. This applies to a wide range of tissue paper products used at home and professionally. Careful control of the production process is the key to ensuring the high microbiological quality and hygiene standard of the end products. One result of our continuous work and high quality in this area is the recommendation our Lambi handkerchiefs have received from the Allergy and Asthma Association in Sweden

The Less is More concept of our Katrin brand is designed for saving resources by minimising consumption and hygiene risks. The concept is based on high-performance products that fulfil environmental demands, are functional, help reduce consumption and produce less waste.
