Product development leading to product innovations is one of the cornerstones of Metsä Tissues business strategy. Our aim is to supply consumer oriented products with high functionality and excellent visual appearance to our customers. We are continuoustly striving for higher quality standards and usabilitity.

When it comes to tissue paper products, product development is one of the key enablers of customer satisfaction. Development of even softer tissue paper products with excellent usability features, optimization of fiber recipies, improvement of de-inking processes and product quality control are examples of the daily work conducted by our product development organization.

In our quality and technology laboratories, we are developing customer oriented product solutions for the Consumer and Away-from-Home Hygiene business areas. Metsä Tissue's product develoment center is located at the Raubach mill in Germany.
