Tissue base paper

Metsä Tissue is an important tissue base paper supplier for the tissue converting industry in Europe.

We produce various grades for consumer and away-from-home applications and we are a napkin tissue specialist. Tissue base paper is supplied by our mills in Mänttä, Kreuzau, Stotzheim and Zilina. 

We offer several tissue paper grades based on different pulp furnishes, from 100 per cent recycled pulps up to 100 per cent bleached chemical pulp grades.

Grades:

Bathroom tissue, towel tissue, household towel tissue, facial tissue, napkin tissue (white and coloured),  sanitary napkin tissue and special grades. 

The basis weight range varies between 15-45 g/m2 and the number of plies between 1-4. Other big reel specifications are defined according to the paper machine in question.
