The operating model defines the roles of the CEO, businesses, functions and regions in relation to our customers and Board of Directors.
Metsä Tissue’s three businesses are Consumer, Away-from-Home and Baking & Cooking. Each business has full responsibility for its own business, including profit responsibility, customer relations and related activities such as marketing, product management and offering development.
Metsä Tissue’s four functions are Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain and Technology & Operations. They support our three business areas, own their function-specific processes and create efficient common ways of working throughout the company.
Our four regions ensure the local implementation of the company strategy and targets, helping to instil and implement common practices throughout Metsä Tissue. Regional Operations are in charge of regional Technology & Operations, Finance, HR and local and regional corporate governance. They support the businesses and functions at local level.
The performance of each function and region is measured by specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), quality and costs.
